Mango Chitranna |
Ingredients:
- 1 Cup rice
- 1 Small cup raw mango grated
- 4 Tbsp of peanuts
- 2 Tbsp urad dal
- 3 Tbsp of oil
- 2 Tbsp coriander leaves chopped
- 3 Green chillies finely chopped
- Salt as per taste
- 1 Tbsp mustard seeds
- 1/2 Tbsp turmeric powder and a pinch of hing
- Few curry leaves
- 1/2 tbsp sugar
Method:
Cook rice and keep aside. Take a pan on heater. Add oil and once hot add mustard seeds. Allow it to crackle. Now add urad dal fry it till golden brown. Add Peanuts and fry till golden brown. Add curry leaves , turmeric powder, hing and green chillies and fry it. Add grated mango, salt and sugar and mix well. Now add the cooked rice and mix well.Garnish it with fresh coriander leaves.
